Why is it called Acting Free?
Because it's all about acting and it's free!
What will you do?
Talk acting, impro acting, script acting, act acting!
What wont you do?
Sing and dance!
Who is it for?
Young people from 8 to 18 years with no acting experience, lots of acting experience, no confidence, more confidence than they know what to do with - in fact anybody!
Who runs Acting Free?
Steve Biggs is chief executive and director of The Young Actors Company. He has many years experience working with young actors. His company's alumni include Aston Merrygold (JLS) and Himesh Patel (Tamwar - EastEnders) and his students have appeared on stage at London's National Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in London's West End.
Where and when?
Each 3 hour class will take place on Sundays at Netherhall Upper School, Queen Edith's Way, Cambridge CB1 8NN from 10.00-1.00pm (8-12's) and 1.30-4.30pm (13-18's). Next classes are scheduled for Sunday 12th and Sunday 19th September 2010.

Why are you doing this free of charge?
Simple - to give as many people as possible the opportunity to work with a professional acting teacher/agent and hopefully introduce (or add to) your appetite for acting and performing.
